General Product Care Guidelines

To maintain the quality and appearance of veneer or solid wood products, avoid using cleaning products that contain abrasive ingredients, ammonia, bleach, spirits, or other harsh chemicals, including D10 sanitizers. Sanitizer sprays, due to their aggressive components, can damage lacquer finishes over time. This may lead to deterioration, resulting in water marks, heat marks, and even scratches.

Please note that our guarantee for stained wood products does not cover damage caused by the use of such cleaning products.

Care for Solid and Veneered Products

As noted above, we recommend avoiding the use of any cleaning products on these surfaces. Instead, use a warm, damp cloth with a small amount of mild soap to gently clean the product.

After manufacturing and installation, extra care is essential. Lacquer finishes require time to fully cure—several days to become heat-resistant and up to two weeks to fully harden. During this curing period, always place hot items on mats or coasters rather than directly on the surface to avoid damage.

Storage

Upon delivery, proper storage of all solid and veneered products is essential, particularly during the winter months. Products should be stored in a temperature-controlled environment between 10–25 degrees Celsius, ensuring that all surfaces are equally exposed to air.
